Accounts get restricted
Every desktop filter drives a logged-in WhatsApp Web session. One account doing thousands of contact lookups is the exact pattern abuse detection is built to catch.
Desktop filters run through your own WhatsApp account — which is exactly why accounts get restricted. Cloud checking never touches an account. Upload a CSV, get labelled results, keep every number you own.
We build desktop filter software, and we will still tell you plainly where its limit is.
Every desktop filter drives a logged-in WhatsApp Web session. One account doing thousands of contact lookups is the exact pattern abuse detection is built to catch.
Teams end up buying and warming numbers purely to burn them on filtering. That cost is invisible until you add it up over a quarter.
A restriction mid-run means re-verification, a lost queue position, and a list you are no longer sure is complete.
The honest conclusion: if keeping your WhatsApp numbers safe is the constraint, the answer is not a better desktop filter. It is not using an account for the lookups at all.
No SIM cards, no warm-up period, no software to keep running. The whole job is a file in and a file out.
Drag in a CSV or Excel file — any column order, up to a million rows. Nothing is installed and nothing is linked.
Checks run on cloud infrastructure with localised routing per country. Your WhatsApp account is never involved at any point.
Get your file back with an added valid/invalid column plus detected country and dial code, ready for any CRM.
Both are ours. Pick the one that matches your constraint, not the one with better marketing.
| What matters to you | Desktop Turbo Filter | Cloud checking |
|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp login required | Yes — QR scan | Never |
| Risk to your account | Real, reducible, not zero | None |
| SIM cards needed | 1 to 10 accounts | Zero |
| Time to first check | Install, activate, warm up | Upload and go |
| Operating system | Windows only | Any browser |
| Cost model | From $15, unlimited checks | $1 per 40,000 checks |
| Where data is processed | Locally, on your machine | In the cloud, then deleted |
| API access | Not available | REST API on approval |
Choose the desktop filter if local-only processing matters or you already run a stable multi-account setup. Choose cloud checking if restrictions are your bottleneck, your lists are large or international, or you need an API.
Restrictions interrupt jobs and you are replacing SIMs to keep filtering.
Mixed UK, US, German, Dutch and Belgian data needs routing no single account can give you.
macOS and Linux teams cannot run the desktop build at all.
Validating at signup or inside a CRM pipeline needs an API, not a desktop UI.

Every desktop WhatsApp filter on the market works the same way underneath. It drives a logged-in WhatsApp Web session and asks that session whether each number in your file exists on WhatsApp. It is your account doing the asking.
That design has one unavoidable consequence: WhatsApp sees a single account performing a very large number of contact lookups in a short window, and their automated systems are built to notice exactly that. In practice this shows up as:
Slower intervals, proper warm-up and a multi-account setup genuinely reduce how often this happens. But no desktop tool removes the risk, because the risk is the logged-in account.
At $1 per 40,000 checks, cost stops being a planning constraint:
Credits do not expire, so unused balance carries into your next campaign. Compare that against the SIM cards, warm-up time and replacement accounts a large desktop filtering job burns through and the arithmetic is not close.
The output is deliberately simple so it drops into any workflow without transformation. Alongside your original columns you receive:
valid_whatsapp: true/false — the active flag. That country field is what makes it easy to split a mixed international list into per-market campaign segments before you send anything — sending inside local hours, in the right language, under the right consent rules.
Use E.164: a plus sign, the country dial code, then the subscriber number with no spaces or punctuation. One number per row, duplicates removed.
The most common defect we see is a kept trunk prefix — +4407400000123 instead of +447400000123. Most countries drop that leading zero, but a few (Italy, Spain, India, Mexico, Poland) have no trunk prefix at all. The country reference covers the rule for each market.
List validation is a data-hygiene step. It does not create a lawful basis to contact anyone.
You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to process the numbers and for complying with the privacy rules and platform policies that apply in your market — which differ sharply between the EU, UK, US and elsewhere. See our terms and privacy policy, and take qualified local advice before outreach.
Yes. Checks run on cloud infrastructure rather than through your account, so there is no QR scan, no linked device and no session on your phone. You upload a file and download a result.
Cloud checking reports 99.9% accuracy with localised routing per country. The practical test is cheap — run a sample you already know the answers for and compare the labels.
Only if local-only processing matters to you, or you prefer a one-off license with unlimited checks over per-check pricing. Plenty of teams keep both and route each job to whichever fits.
Yes. REST API access is available on approval — the right route for validating numbers at registration or inside a CRM pipeline. See the API page.
Take a sample you already know the answers for, run it through, and compare. That is a faster way to evaluate this than reading any more of our copy.
